Prof. Baeriswyl was invited to speak at the prestigious “Leading Talents” program, an industry training program of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
Hosted by the China Industrial Design Association, Prof. Baeriswyl facilitated as the first speaker at the Ningbo stop, launching a three-day segment dedicated to brand building. Over a two hour session, he spoke about what branding is, steps to build a strong brand, a case study on Virgin, and wrapped up with observations on recent trends in China. The 80-strong class consisted of General Managers, CEOs, Directors, and Design Principles from a wide spectrum of industry, including design, cosmetics, transportation, manufacturing, and food.
